(Scranton, PA) – John Chrin (R-Skytop) announces the addition of Michael Stwarka to his campaign team as Communications and Policy Director.

Michael joins the campaign out of Southwestern Pennsylvania where he served in an operations consulting role for Rick Saccone during the PA-18 Special Election. Michael transitioned into the role of campaign manager for Saccone in the PA-14 primary. 

Michael is a former senior policy advisor to Representatives Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and Jeff Landry (R-LA). He got his start in politics on the team of Senator Rob Portman (R-OH). Michael transitioned from 7 years on Capitol Hill to the campaign trail in Ohio in 2016 working political jobs in state during the presidential cycle. Michael is a native of Manchester, Ohio.

John Chrin is running to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district in the November election. John Chrin is an outsider and successful business leader with over twenty years of experience in the financial services sector. He was recently announced as a Young Gun by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
