(Scranton, PA) – Today, John Chrin’s campaign announced that John had received Representative Tarah Toohil’s endorsement for his campaign to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district.
“I am very pleased to endorse John Chrin for Congress in the 8th District,” said Representative Tarah Toohil, “It’s about qualifications to serve and about who is best to represent the people of southern Luzerne County, the people of the 8th District. John Chrin has Pennsylvania values and roots. He has been in southern Luzerne County dozens of times over the course of this campaign, meeting with elected officials, business leaders, and community leaders, several times over. John and his wife Maria, a legal immigrant from Honduras and a very impressive businesswoman, have also done an enormous amount to reach out to the Hispanic community in Greater Hazleton, listening to their concerns and letting them know that John will represent all of the people. I believe John’s incredible financial and economic background is what our area most needs in order to flourish. He would be the first-ever Certified Financial Planner in Congress if elected. Imagine an elected official in Washington who really knows how to be fiscally responsible and manage money effectively. I think he is the person best equipped to represent us both in Washington and here at home to ensure our area and all of its people prosper,” said Rep. Toohil.
“I would like to thank Representative Tarah Toohil for her support and her many years of leadership in the Greater Hazleton area. It would be a privilege to work with her and other leaders to create an economic environment that would help bring higher-paying jobs to the region. I think we can do so much together to revitalize the area and help southern Luzerne receive the attention and opportunities for success its people truly deserve. She and all can be assured, if elected, I will represent the concerns of all in the 8th District,” said Chrin.
John is a 10th generation Pennsylvanian, Monroe County resident, political outsider, and successful self-made business leader with over thirty years of experience in the private sector. He has created thousands of jobs over his career and will use this vast experience for the benefit of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
