(Scranton, PA) – Today, John Chrin (R-Skytop) announces the release of his campaign's first commercial of the general election cycle. The ad focuses on the values instilled in him growing up in Pennsylvania: "of perseverance, hard work, and integrity". 

The ad goes on to say that the tools for success that he developed in Northeast Pennsylvania, he will use to work if elected to Congress. 

John is running against Rep. Matt Cartwright to represent Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district. John has multiple times asserted that Cartwright has routinely voted against the interests of his constituents for the benefit of special interests.

John mentions specific policy goals of fighting for quality affordable health care and banning sanctuary cities. John will fight for good paying jobs and defend our families, our values, and our Northeast Pennsylvania way of life.

The race to represent PA's 8th congressional district is signaled to be an extremely competitive race this fall. In the last week, the rating for the race has been moved from likely Democratic to lean Democratic. 

John Chrin is an outsider and successful business leader with over twenty years of experience in the financial services sector. He was recently announced as a Young Gun by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
