Chrin Campaign Calls on Cartwright to debate in each of PA-8 Counties

(Scranton, PA) – Today, John Chrin’s campaign called on Matt Cartwright to join John in participating in congressional debates in each of the five counties of the 8th congressional district. The 8th congressional district is made up of Lackawanna, Pike, Wayne counties, and parts of Luzerne and Monroe counties.

To date, only one congressional debate has been agreed by the candidates – in Luzerne County. That debate is sponsored by WVIA and will be held on October 29th. Chrin and his team are calling for debates in the remaining four counties that make up the district.

“This is too important an election to only have one opportunity to show the voters of the 8th congressional district the stark contrasts in my candidacy – advocating for more jobs and economic prosperity for the 8th congressional district - to Matthew Cartwright.” said Chrin. “As Cartwright said in 2012 when he ran against Rep. Tim Holden, commercials are not the best way to debate the important policy issues of our time. I call on Cartwright to be swift in his response. Let’s get four additional debates scheduled so we can give the voters what they deserve – an honest discussion on the issues important to Northeast Pennsylvania’s future.”

John is a 10th generation Pennsylvanian, political outsider, and successful business leader with over thirty years of experience in the private sector. He has created thousands of jobs over his career and will use this vast experience for the benefit of Northeast Pennsylvania.
